Woodworkers Entry Registrations

Guidelines

There is a limit of FIVE entries in the same section-division combination.  All work must have been completed after March 15, 2023 and must be the work of the artist.  By registering a piece for the competition, the artist is certifying that it is his or her work and was completed within the two years prior to the show.

Woodworkers are to choose the skill level that best represents their ability.

 

Skill Levels

 

Youth:   Youth under 16 years of age.

 

Beginner:   No more than two years experience in woodworking and/or has never entered a completion before.

 

Intermediate:   Two or more years experience in woodworking and/or have won a previous novice completion and/or are over 16 years of age.

Considers themselves a hobbyist woodworker.

 

Advanced:   Professional Artisan or Manufacturer of your particular Artwork. If you sell your art work this is your skill level.

 

AWARDS

 

-Ribbons will be awarded based on Finish, Style, Functionality, and Design Features . 

-Depending on the amount of entries 1st , 2nd, 3rd and HM will be awarded in each category. 

-Ribbons will be awarded if only one entry is entered at the discretion of the judge.

-One best of show award will be awarded.

Choose the Section, the Division and indicate your skill level of each piece and finally provide a description. You need to fill out a form for each entry.

The first 5 pieces are entered for free. Each entry after that is $5 when done before deadline or a $10 fee will be charged at check-in.


** If fees aren't paid at the time of submission you will be responsible for the $10/piece charge when you arrive at check-in.
