ABOUT THE SHOW

Five wood artistry clubs join forces to create a unique exhibition that has become a significant cultural highlight in the Northwest. The showcase features woodcarving, woodturning, fine furniture crafting, pyrography, intarsia, marquetry, scrolling, CNC and various other forms of wood art.

CELEBRATING WOODWORKING CRAFTSMANSHIP

For over 15 years, the Idaho Artistry in Wood Show has been the premier event celebrating the finest woodworking craftsmanship in the northwest. Join us for a captivating display of creativity and artistry in wood.

ENGAGE WITH ARTISTRY

The Idaho Artistry in Wood Show gives artists the opportunity to participate in a judged competition and display their work to the public. The show is open to all woodworking artists and craftspeople; membership in a participating club is not required to enter.

In addition to the competition, the event includes special exhibits, a featured artist, live demonstrations, vendors, raffles, a silent auction, and a dinner event with a live auction.

 

The show is organized by a committee made up of representatives from each of the five participating clubs. Each year, one club serves as the host club on a rotating basis and nominates an individual to act as committee chair for the following year’s show. For 2026, the Ada County Woodworkers Association is the host club.

Ada County Woodworkers Association

Located in Ada County, Idaho, regular meetings are held to encourage and increase members’ knowledge and familiarity with the best and latest woodworking methods, skills and tools.

Southwest Idaho Woodturners Association

The Southwest Idaho Woodturners Association promotes woodturning, shares ideas, provides a meeting place, exchanges wood/other materials and educates and promotes safety of woodturning.

Idaho Woodcarvers Guild

The Idaho Woodcarvers Guild, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1980.  The Guild exists to encourage and promote the art of woodcarving and related skills in pyrography (wood burning) and other forms of artistry in wood.

Treasure Valley Scrollers

Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Scroller club members are located throughout the Treasure Valley. Fret work, intarsia, and segmentation are only a few of the woodworking techniques used by our members.

CNC Users Group of Idaho
